County Donegal • Ireland
Wild. Rugged. Remote.
These are the words I’d use to describe this amazing county in the far Northwestern part of Ireland.
The locals proclaim, “It’s different up here!” And it is.
This is what makes this county so appealing to the adventurous traveler. You wont’ be rubbing elbows with too many other travelers, but you will get to know the incredibly friendly and fiercely proud locals.
Want to lay your eyes upon some of the most stunning coastline in all of Ireland? Maybe you want to tour an incredible lakeside castle? Perhaps you want to walk on some gorgeous beaches? Or commune with the ancient spirits at a stone circle? How about some fun pub time?
County Donegal has all of this and more. But without the hoards of tourists.
While it may take a bit more effort to get here, once you do, you’ll wonder why you didn’t come here sooner!
